Not this bad yet . . .
But still makes me want to cuddle up under a blanket with a cup of tomato soup and several hours on the internet.
If only the internet wasn't subject to the whims of nature also.
What do you do when it rains? Do you still have to go to work? Do you dream of all the Summer fun you'll have for the productive winter storms?
RAINING

First! Pooh Bear getting away from the rain reminds me of my childhood when I first saw this. It is warm and nice where I'm at. I don't miss winter.
When it does rain, I usually either watch t.v., write, or read. But I'll keep the patio door open to the porch so that the smell of the rain can come in. I like the smell of rain (if it isn't too cold).
Hi Donna .. love this English Pooh Bear - with Americanisations!! Great clip though .. thankfully it's not raining here - but we could do with it.
Michael's comment about smelling the earth as it rains is so true -
Rain doesn't affect me - just get on with it .. we did have a downpour a few years ago .. when I walked down to town I found it had flooded!!
Cheers Hilary
I find that I do my best work when it rains! It inspires me, though I don't know why!
I love to listen to the rain. Which is good, because I get to hear it a lot :-)
...I'm a fan of those ominous clouds, the spattering of rain overhead. For that's when the muse takes flight ;)
(Seriously, what else is there to do?)
D.L.R. in his hayday! Love it.

I like it when it rains. I don't have to do yard work.
I don't mind the rain as long as it is warm out. Plus it washes the car off..haha
I admit it. I love Winnie the Pooh. It's sunshine and blooming plants where I live, so I'm glad it's not raining.
I did nothing but catch up on Doctor Who and play Lego Harry Potter last Thursday and Friday. I want to do it again, this time with season one of Game of Thrones.
I now have an overwhelming urge to watch Winnie the Pooh. That brings back memories.
Mike; I love the smell of rain. And the sound too.
Wow Hilary, finding the town flooded must have been shocking.
Kyra; rain is soothing, inspires deep thoughts.
Sarah, rain is great when it pitter-patters. Not so great in a storm :)
As long as the back-up battery in the lap-to lasts Elliot :)
Good point Alex.
Pat; its about the only time my car gets a bath, lol.
Brinda, some days I can't choose between Pooh, Piglett or Tigger :)
Glad you're feeling better Josh. Can I borrow season one?
LOl Jamie; I watched several clips after posting this. Too cute to pass up.

I usually love it when it rains, it makes me tranquil and relaxed, I don't like hot sunny weather :)
aw, I love pooh bear! Those were my first books :)
and sadly, the weather doesn't affect my work. We're like the post office except we don't get all those holidays off.
Hi Donna
I love pooh bear. Colorado rarely gets an entire day of rain. But I do love it when it happens.
Nancy
I prefer rain in warm weather, not the cold rains of winter... brrr and especially like the rain at night. It will put me to sleep everytime. B4 I forget I tagged you. : )
I am only wishing for rain over here - we've had a heatwave recently, but at least the weather's cooled down a bit!
I love snuggling up on the couch when it's raining. Of course, I don't get to do that most of the time as I'm at work or sleeping :)
I like rain, except for when it storms at 2:15 when the kids are getting off the bus.
I'm with you there Dezzy.
I feel for ya Ms Hatch; we all need weather days as an excuse not to work.
Hello Nancy :)
Hey Gossip Girl; I haven't seen you in a long time. I'll check out the tag. Thanks.
Work interfers with a lot of my plans too Trisha.
Ciara: I bet the kids like getting drenched just before running home. Mom is sure to fix hot chocolate :)

I used to be a drug rep and I hated it when it rained. I ended up looking like a drowned rat for most of the day. Or if the rain wasn't coming down hard, I had frizzy hair, which drove me nuts!
We have been having buckets of rain, which we need badly.
It is great to see Jeff Beesler's book out and about. Love the cover design. Has a yearning and haunting element combined.
