Still can't get used to writing 2012 - can you?

I'm always up for a free book; especially something a little outside my comfortable reading box AND is a paper book.  You know, that whole "I didn't have to pay for it to try it". . .

Stuart says that Court Of Dreams (published by Pink Narcissus Press) is his "comic fantasy take on faeries (or possibly fairies, depending on your taste in spelling) in which Thomas Greene learns that attracting the attention of the faerie courts is not always a good thing. Comes complete with a cast of forgetful fairy assaisins, figments of the imagination, vengeful princesses, and not particularly nightmarish nightmare hunts.

Comedy is not usually my thing, but I've bought three of Stuarts urban fantasies, and have found them amusing.  I am also highly entertained by his witty snippits he posts on his blog.  Stu is quite a character himself.

Stu is hosting an awesome giveaway thru Sunday, Jan 22.  Hurry hurry to get your name entered.  There are two easy ways to enter - he is giving away two paper books.  I'll let Stu give you the details:

To celebrate, I'm giving away a couple of copies. I'm doing one in the traditional way, which is to select someone randomly, but with additional chances of winning if you help me to let the world know about the novel so you get an extra chance if you do either of the following:
  • Mention Court of Dreams' release on your blog or Facebook
  • Put the rather lovely cover somewhere on your blog
  • Mention this giveaway with a link back here
Those are all fairly easy to do, so there's really no reason not to. Just let me know in the comments if you did. Getting the second copy will take slightly more creativity. In the novel, my faerie huntsman Grave has a coat, the pockets of which seem to contain anything and everything. I'd like you to suggest something that might conceivably have ended up in there. The more outlandish the better. The strangest, silliest, most inventive suggestion in the comments wins (this is entirely arbitrary on my part). For inspiration, you could try looking at the Deja Vu Blogfest bit I did, which features Grave hunting through his pockets through much of it.

I read the Deja Vu excerpt, and I assure you that you'll want to read the book.   I left my guess for what is in Grave's pocket.  Go on; give it a guess, or at least comment on the post for one entry.

Stuart Sharp is a writer, ghostwriter and historian based in East Yorkshire. Having dabbled in urban fantasy, he currently writes comic fantasy.

Hi, Donna,

What a FUN premise ... this book looks hysterical. I will definitely drop by Stu's.

I will put this in my side bar.

As for what he finds in his pocket, hmmm. I have to think on that one for a bit.
